The VTX-22 utilizes the same high efficiency diffuser geometry and materials as our larger caliber suppressors for long-life performance.
The VTX-22 is a very strong, monolithic structure and is therefore a sealed unit and cannot be stripped down for cleaning. This means there are no end-cap threads to damage or parts to lose. Instead, we have opted to build this model to the same high standards as all Siege Suppressors, which allows the end-user to clean the unit by attaching it to a rifle with 16” or longer barrel, chambered in 5.56 and running eight to ten rounds of high-quality ammo through it for a thorough cleaning.
The VTX-22 utilizes our multi-hex direct thread interface with 3/4” and 7/8” wrench flats, which accommodates mating to a bull barrel while leaving access to the larger flats for easy attachment and removal.
Our use of the highest quality materials, proprietary manufacturing techniques and closely monitored in-house heat-treating renders a product that lets our customers spend more time shooting and less time cleaning.
